On behalf of Commodore Robert Cook and Vice Commodore Chevy Rice

We are writing you at this time with great sadness.
Landmark Yacht Club has lost one of our dearest members.
Our beloved Roger Baxter passed away Monday morning after a long illness. Shirley was by his side.

Shirley and Rogers family need our support at this time.
Sunday, August 15th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., family and friends will be welcomed at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030. www.everlyfuneralhomes.com

Our sincerest condolences go out to Shirley and Rogers family.

Roger has been a member of Landmark Yacht Club for many years and was such an active participant in Landmark Yacht Club. He was always there to help out on a work day, join in on adventures on the river and serinade us with his great guitar playing. Roger was not only an accomplished musician, he was a master in woodworking. The cannon that sits at the waters edge in front of our clubhouse is a reminder of how talented Roger was. Roger loved being on the River and Boating with Shirley and friends!!!!

Roger will be greatly missed.
